Refugees Receive Emergency Aid
Previous ImageNext Image

February 2001- A mother from Kunduz province just west of Taloqan in northern Afghanistan describes her miseries to RAWA. Taloqan was overrun by the Taliban forces this past winter and it is likely they pushed on westward toward this woman's home. 180,000 people have traded the misery of Afghanistan for the misery of the Pakistani refugee camps since September. 80,000 of them are enduring life in Jalozai Camp.
